Swim Workout on September 24, 2012

September 25, 2012 by Mom on the Make Leave a Comment

SwimmerI woke up this morning as sore as I have ever been.

I could feel every muscle in my body because of the “great junk clean out” this weekend at my parent’s public storage unit.

My de-cluttering weekend is discussed at great length here.

Because of my extreme soreness, I knew that jumping in the pool this morning and stretching out my body with nice long strokes would really help, and I was right. Here’s the workout….

Swim Workokut September 24, 2012

300 Kick/Swim by 50 200 Choice 4 x 75 (Kick, Left Arm, Right Arm) 4 x 75 Swim 4 x ( 200 pull, 3×50 {odds free, evens back}) 12 x 25 Variables (Variables are sets of 4×25 where first one is slow fast, second is fast slow, third is all slow and fourth is all fast) 2500 yards

As always, I feel better and ready to face the week ahead. In the spirit of going through junk and clearing out the clutter this weekend, I have brought in 4 bags of old cds (we’re talking at least 400 CDs). We are paying Broadway $20 to make sure that all of the songs are on itunes.  Once we have confirmed all of the CDs are on itunes, we are donating them to charity.  Great little job for a 10 year old, and she will save Mountain Man and I at least 10 hours of work. Can’t wait to get the CD clutter out of my garage.  I’m on a mission. 🙂
