Glitter Glue Is Not My Friend

January 9, 2013 by Mom on the Make 2 Comments

Glitter Glue and Five Year olds are not the ideal match…….

Bam Bam went to a birthday party a few days ago and came home with a goodie bag as they often do.  Only this time, there was a tube of glitter glue in the festive bag.

I mean, really?  Tubes of glitter glue to a bunch of five year olds?!

Halfway home, said tube of blue colored glitter glue was squeezed out in the form of several large circles and squiggly lines on the back seat carpet of our minivan.  The display resembled an exhibit at a modern art museum. (now, that’s seeing the glass half full)  Good for me.

I think glitter glue and red cherry cough syrup are my two worst enemies.

Now, it definitely depends on the child! Nothing to do with stereotyping, but my daughter would have been absolutely fine with glitter glue at 5, but there’s no way I’m letting my son near the stuff!!

I agree. There is a huge difference between my girls at age 5 and my son. The girls tend to be a bit more careful. 🙂
