Finally, Back in the Water

Swimmer

Back in the Water!

After five days of being a no show at my Masters swim workouts this week, I finally went again this morning.  I feel so much better.  Time to celebrate!

300 free

200 IM (kick down, swim back)

100 Back

10 x 50 (kick down, easy back for first 5: fast swim down, easy swim back for second 5)

2 x (3x 50s stroke, 2 x 75 free, 100 stroke FAST)

6 x 100s pulling

200 warm down

The 100 fast really got our heart rates up.  We did them from a dive and  were timed, so the pressure was on.  I should really try to swim in a meet soon.  Its so fun to sprint for 4 laps.

Why is so difficult to get up at 6am in the morning and swim??  I have to get back to my 3-4 per week schedule.  I’ll start on Monday, for sure.  🙂

I wish we had a local pool I could go to to swim every day. I miss swimming, it is great exercise and helps my joints a lot. Great job for getting back to it!
