Swim Workout – October 13, 2012

October 14, 2012 by Mom on the Make Leave a Comment

Today was ladder day at the pool.

You know those sets where you start with a long swim, then a slightly shorter swim, etc.., then you crawl back up the ladder.

Well, that’s what the workout was for today.

It was too much freestyle for me.

I prefer swimming all of the strokes, and in shorter distances.

But, I persevered, and made it through.

Here’s the ladder for today’s workout:

Swim Workout October 13, 2012

300 swim

2 x 150

3 x 100

4 x 75

6 x 50

3000 total yards

After swimming down the ladder, we had to swim back up it, ending with the 300 swim.

Again, this would have been a fine workout if we were allowed to incorporate other strokes.

Oh well, at least I made it to workout with very little complaining on my part.

I’m trying to institute a no tolerance for excuses mandate on myself.

Its going ok, I guess.
