Fiverr is an Awesome Resource

Fiverr

I just have to share my thoughts on Fiverr.  I have several blogs focusing on different topics and one thing that comes up frequently is that I need just a little something done here and there to tweak the look of the site.

Those “little somethings” can be very time consuming when you are not an expert at the task.

The headers for my blogs have all been outsourced to talented individuals at Fiverr.  I just tell them the color and font and whether to add an image or not, and they create beautiful headers for me usually within two days.

I wanted a logo for my Mom on the Make blog and decided to search for a line drawing artist and stumbled upon an artistic master.  I love that you can share your comments with the fiverr community.  You have such peace of mind making your orders with such detailed comments left by previous customers.

Unique Gigs on Fiverr

Last week, as I was looking for an artist for my line drawing, I stumbled upon this HILARIOUS listing for someone to draw a really terrible drawing for you.

I’ve placed it here in quotes:

“I will draw anything you want me to very, very poorly for $5.”

“Are you tired of all of the ridiculously talented artists on Fiverr? Sick of the formality that comes with talent? Want something that communicates “I’m a free spirit that won’t be bound by the confines of quality!”? Look no further! I am terrible at drawing. Absolutely terrible. Can’t-draw-a-straight-line terrible. I’ll use every single ounce of my non-existent talent and draw you anything you’d like. Poorly. Very, very poorly.”

This gig seriously had me laughing so hard, I was crying.  :0

A few others that stand out in my mind include:

  • Someone will take a picture of himself in front of Taj Mahal with a sign saying whatever you want for $5
  • Someone will make a very difficult decision for you $5
  • Someone will animate a picture of you and then have the cartoon say anything you want for $5

You can also have video experts make videos for you, there are writers that will work for five dollars and fitness experts willing to make videos demonstrating the correct way to complete a certain exercise.

And, the list goes on….  This site is SO fun and SO worth checking out soon.  Have Fun!!  🙂
